Put one part rice in two parts water, bring to a boil, turn down heat, let simmer for recommended time. Or boil in a large amount of water and strain.

When cooking dry rice add equal amounts of rice and water, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of butter. Boil for about 20 minutes or until tender.
