For my money the absolute best car freshener is the yankee candle clean cotton car freshener. it smells great and has a classy jar look. Dont go for the little trees their everywhere but they make your car smell awful. if your in a pinch i would also definitely go with Febreeze its quick and smells great.

There are a few use and I use them occasionally when I have extra money to spend. Here is my favorite: Super-can-o-scent new car freshener. I have used it and it lasts a few months and still smells good. It costs less then 10 bucks. Around five dollars actually could last 6 months.

The best car freshener is one with a fragrance that isn't too strong but still fairly noticeable. The most important aspect of the air freshener is if it will get in the way or not. The best car freshener will do it's job while being small enough to not hinder your driving ability.

In my opinion there is no good air freshener. They just add smell over the bad one. If you cars smells bad you should have it shampooed. This should get rid of most odors. Then you can always use something like Febreze for any remaining odors.
