5 feet 9 inches - 5 feet 10 inches is said to the average height of an adult male in the US only. Note that this is only an average, and age and race can play a part as well. Over time this average has increased and you'll find some men way under this average, and others way above it.

There have been a number of studies involving measuring the average height, and they have often come out differently. They're between 5'7" and 5'10" in the US for males.
