rolly polly is a bug which have 7 pair of long legs. This bug is an classified as an iopod. isopod is a different type of anthropode other than insects.

A "roly poly" or pill bug is an arthropod from the order Isopoda. It is actually a type of wood louse. All adult members of order Isopoda have seven pairs of legs, or 14 legs total.
