What is the 9.4 GB DVD +R designed for?

They can be used for lots of applications. Data backup, movies, games, articles, magazines, just about anything. 9.4 giga-bytes is enough storage space to store two complete DVD movies. If you compress the data you could fit several hours of video.

Dvd like that can be used for a lot of things. The +R means it is a write once disk so it not well suited for data that needs to be modified later. However it ideal use is for video disks. You can burn you movies to it and it should play in most dvd player.
