Raywood Ash Trees are exceptionally drought tolerant and are resistant to Ash Anthracnose, as well as other diseases. The Raywood Ash demonstrates a high resistance to certain insect pests. The tree is often chosen for the landscape due to its rather uninvasive root system and the fall foliar color. The leaves turn bright red, giving the tree interest and appeal.

Remember, it is a desiduous tree and is quite messy when the spring blooms fall off then the winter leaves. Since the leaves are small, they blow easily at a great distance and will plug up the gutters every year.

One of the best things about raywood ash trees is their beautiful fall color, which is an eye-catching red. Another excellent feature of this tree for dry areas is that it grows well under low water conditions.

They are actually special due to the color they give off. In the summer season and fall, they change from green colors to purple. They look lovely.

This is a low-maintenance tree that provides beautiful fall foilage with deep red and purple leaves. It loves sun, can tolerate drought, and will flower in the early spring. This tree is a large tree and provides plenty of shade. Also known as the Claret ash, it works well as a "windbreaker" tree.
