This is a narcotic used for pain relief. It is combined with acetaminophen (tylenol) to potentiate its effects. This medication acts on mu opioid receptors, which increases tolerance to pain. The strength of propoxyphene is less than vicodin, percocet, or other popular narcotic pain killers. Side effects may include sedation or dizziness, so don't take it and drive.

It's a pain killer. It's a combination of a narcotic analgesic and acetaminophen used to relieve mild to moderate pain.
