What is Neosporin's reaction with peroxide?

There is no reason to mix peroxide with Neosporin. Peroxide is used to cleanse a wound, then the wound is patted dry. Otherwise the ointment will not adhere. Neosporin is then applied as protection and antibiotic treatment of the wound. Any residue from the use of the peroxide beforehand will not have any adverse reaction with the Neosporin.

If an injury calls for peroxide and neosporin, it is reasonable to use both. Use both products only as directed, using the peroxide first to clean the wound and the neosporin to keep it protected.

It's aggressive.It tends to bubble up on a dirty area,it eats up the cells,sometimes doing more harm than good.When it comes to contact with bacterias,germ's and similar substances it will release gas and heat and you will feel kind of a burning sensation (that means it works).
