More likely than not, it is the belt and tensioners. It's not the easiest job (you will need to jack the car up and remove the right front wheel). As long as you are patient and have the right tools, it's a decent job.
I don't find this question very good but i'll answer it anyway. Your Toyota's a 3 litre so I'm assuming its a V6. So it should have a refined/smooth noise.
