Many different things, it could be muscle strain or a problem with the bladder. More serious things could be a damaged disc, or even joint, ligaments. Irritated nerves, even a problem with the disc. If it lasts longer than a couple of weeks or there is pain in the legs, you have fever, really should get immediate medical attention.

This is 99% of the time a muscular issue of the muscles overlying the spine. occasionally, if there is electricity sensation down the buttock or leg, it is a disc issue. Most often, this is resolved with a short trial of anti-inflammatory and strengthening exercise and weight loss. Posture and weight contribute to most lower back pain.

This could have a ton of answers and I will give a few of my best guesses. Sciatica, weak upper back muscles or poor posture.

Lower back pain can be a symptom of muscle over-exertion after lifting heavy weights with your back instead of your legs.
