The generic name is clotrimazole. It's a topical antifungal, used to treat fungal infections in the skin like jock itch, athlete's foot, and yeast infections (candidiasis). It is used for many cases of ringworm and diaper rash as well. It should not be used in the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina.
