Atrial fibrillation is a rapid irregular heart beat. Some may refer to it as a "Heart Murmur". In most cases AF is non-life threatening and without symptoms. AF can only be determined through a physical exam. If accompanied by chest pain or shortness of breath contact a doctor immediately.

Atrial fibrillation is when the top chambers of the heart do not adequately contract, they quiver. Blood doesn't empty adequately and blood clots can develop so treatment is necessary.

This is an abnormal heart rhythm that concerns the top ventricles of the heart. These ventricles don't beat but instead quiver. The blood in the ventricles may pool and clot with a possible consequence of a stroke.

Atrial Fibrillation is an irregular often rapid heart rate which causes poor blood flow to the body and symptoms of heart palpitations(Which is a feeling of having a rapid fluttering or pound heart beat) and shortness of breath as well as weakness. Atrial Fibrillation can cause fatigue as well as a stroke.

Atrial fibrillation occurs as a result of a conduction defect in one of the two upper chambers (atria) of your heart. The left atrium is more commonly involved and can be caused by healing after a heart attack, viral illness, severe dehydration, fever and many other reasons. See a cardiologist.
