Kölsch beer is brewed in Cologne, Germany. It is a clear beer with a bright straw-yellow color, and it has a distinctive hoppiness. Kölsch is top-fermented at a temperature of 55 to 70°F and then cold-conditioned or lagered. It should be served cold, but not near freezing. It has been available in bottles since 1936.

Kölsch (or Koelsch) is a German beer, produced in Cologne. It has a quite strong hoppiness, it's clear in color (with a bright yellow hue) and it's less bitter than the typical german lager beer. It should be served at 10°C/50°F, in a long and thin 0.2 litre glass called "Stange".
