What is involved with the OLSAT test?

My kids will be taking this test in school this year. They have never taken it before.

It's a multiple-choice test that is supposed to measure abstract thinking (remembering things, following directions, figuring sequences) that's given to kids from Kindergarten all the way up through high school, so I'd recommend checking with the library to see if there are "prep" books for their particular grades. Or better, go online and find OLSAT preparatory games.

The OLSAT test is multiple choice and provides a School Ability Index as a score. It is often used to determine student's needs or eligibility for gifted classes.
