Traditionally, bridal shower gifts are personal to the bride. For couples who aren't already living together, this is an opportunity to gift domestic items such as dishes, pots & pans, and small appliances. Depending on the bride and the party, this is also when friends might gift "intimate" items to be used or worn on the honeymoon, such as lingerie.

When getting a gift for a bridal shower you must find out if the bride had created a gift registry of gifts she wants. If no registry then your item must be something of use that most likely she would want.
