It doesn't sound like a technical term and she may be making it up, but was she might be referring to could be true. It sounds like you might be acting in a way that is essentially the same as cheating, or being untrue to her.

In my opinion, yes, she is. "Emotional cheating" doesn't really exist, and is simply something fabricated by girls to force you into feeling guilty. As far as what it actually is, generally, it means having feelings for someone else that you are not romantically involved with.

Emotional cheating is actually a real form of cheating. Unlike physically cheating on someone, with emotional cheating a person cheats on their partner by connecting with another person emotionally. That can mean they are very close to that person, are always talking and spending time with that person who they have a strong emotional bond with.
