What is "coconut water"?

The terms are somewhat interchangeable, but coconut water is more clear and comes from a younger coconut. It is the natural water inside the nut. Coconut milk has more actual coconut meat blended in with it, and has a white "milky" look. Coconut water is clear, almost like water.

The liquid inside young coconuts is called coconut water. It is clear, like water, and drunk right out of the coconut shell with a straw.

coconut water is the water which found inside the coconut fruit. Once you have broken it, you should be careful for it not fall down.

I have had coconut water before and it tastes almost identical to coconut milk, but it is thinner in its substance.
