Also known as BZ, Benzoylecgonine consists of ecgonine benzoate. It is the main ingredient found in the prescription drug Esterom which is a topical analgesic. Benzoylecgonine is also the primary metabolite of cocaine, and is the compound that is tested for in a cocaine urinalyses. Small amounts of BZ can also be found in other over the counter medications.
