The proper infant dose of ANY medication is "However much your pediatrician tells you to give. " DON'T "play doctor" with your child's life based on internet information!

*sigh* Until just very recently children's Benadryl was perfectly safe to give a child... it's due to stupidity of parents that they now suddenly claim in to be unsafe... the dose is the same dose you give for infant tylenol. Check with your dr. don't use as a sleeping pill etc etc

Infants can be be harmed by over-the-counter medications. Consult your pediatrician if you believe your baby has a condition that requires benadryl. Benadryl is not intended for infants!

I found a site called askdrsears . com and it was very helpful. This comment box wouldn't let me post the direct link, but use benadryl in the search and you should find it. It answered a lot of my questions!

I've only seen childrens. Since it's technically not supposed to be given to infants, they don't make an infant version. I was told by my doctor to give a specific dose of the childrens.
