Aspirin, acetaminophen, tylenol are the best alternatives for ibuprofen. But beware of aspirin and acetaminophen as it has more worst effects in the stomach. If u are allergetic to ibuprofen because of its effect on stomach then you cannot go to these alternatives also except naturopathy. The best alternative in naturopathy is accupuncture and accupressure.

Ibuprophen can very hard on your stomach and intestines. Name brand ibuprophen is advil. Ibuprophen is called an NSAID (Non-Steriodal Aint-Inflammatory Drug). So you will wan to stay away from any NSAID. I suggest acetomediphine which is Tylenol. If this doesn't help contact your physician.

Ibuprophen belongs to a catagorie of medications call NSAIDs, Non-steroidal Antiinflammaroty Drugs. There are other alternatives within this category. They include Tylenol, Advil, and Naproxen.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is a good choice for pain relief and fever reduction, or you can try naproxen (Aleve) or old-fashioned aspirin. Try them one at a time, don't take two different types at once.
