A tubbed truck is when someone has cut and widened the wheel wells in a truck to accept larger wider tires than what would have normally came on the vehicle.
When some one refers to any vehicle as tubbed they usually are referring to a car that has had the wheel-wells widened with a set of "tubs" or wider inner-fender.
