PCM means Powertrain Control Module. It has several relays. The PCM relay runs the glow plugs, Check the grounds first.

The powerstroke PCM relay is a keyed switch that feeds power to the powertrain control module(PCM). It will be energized with the ignition switch being turned on.

The powerstroke in PCM relay allows you to choose a specific gear in which one could drive in, also the cylinder level strokes change.
