A headache rack is a rack that is behind the cab of a semi tracter to keep loads from sliding forward and going through the back or back window of a truck.Headache racks are usually made out of aluminum but sometimes other materials are used.

They are used to protect the rear window in pickup trucks. it guards against loads being carried in the bed of the pickup shifting forward through glass into the cabin.

A headache rack gives the bed part of your truck a place to put your cargo,ladders, and mount lights on. It will keep them tight.
