Why will the top rack of my Maytag dishwasher not pull out?

Did it fell off the track? look and see if both sides are on track. If so, look along both tracks to see if there is something blocking it.

Check to ensure that nothing from the bottom rack is impeding the top rack from being pulled out. Utensils can move in the way during the wash cycle. Check the tracks that the top rack sits in and clear them of any debry that may have built up during washing.

Dishwasher racks are notorious for having something wedged somewhere. Often times something not visible on a casual look will be the problem. Check more closely and you will probably find some small object. Sometimes pushing the rack inward will dislodge the culprit.
