Manure which is more plentiful a diverse than most people think,is the easiest and cheapest. Horse, cow, chicken, pig. I've even had luck with dog and pet bird droppings. Either compost it and add it into the soil, or add raw at the end of the season.

I have horses and what I do is take manure in the fall and set it out side mixed with soil. Let it sit out over the winter then in the spring till it into the soil and plant it has never failed to work for me and you can do the same with cow manure.
