I wouldn't drink anything too, too strong. Long Island (or Texas, depending on your region) Ice Teas are good, as are your standard Pina Colada, Margarita, and Daquiri. Jack and coke is always a favorite as well.
Watch out for friends who like to play tricks on you! Try something sweet; keep it simple. If you like coffee, try a Kahlua Sombrero (coffee brandy and either milk or cream; stay with the name brand Kahlua). Amaretto de Sorono is beautiful over ice. So is Bailey's Irish Cream.
If you've never had alcohol before it's best for you to go small. Don't drink something like 100 proof Burbon. Never mix clear alcohol with dark alcohol the first time and don't go from beer to liquor. Try a screwdriver. It's Vodka and Orange Juice. You can taste the Vodka but it doesn't overwhelm you.
try just one beer or one glass of wine to see how it effects you, keep in mind alcohol is a drug and is able to kill cells in the brain, heart, liver and kidneys.
Rum and coke would be a great chose it goes down smooth for a first drink and it should be severed or easy made by any one where you want to drink. Just make sure you get a designated driver.
The best drinks are ones that don't taste like alcohol but get you drunk. I would suggest a fuzzy navel (orange juice and peach schnapps) or a mudslide. I don't know what is in a mudslide, but it is good!
That depends if you like something sweet, or would rather just get drunk quicker. If you want to get drunk quickly, take shots. I think the best thing to take shots of is Goldschlaggers. It tastes like cinnamon & has little flakes of gold so it looks cool. It also has higher alcohol content so be careful.
