It is half golden retriever and half poodle. These are becoming increasingly more popular as people learn about this breed. They have that wonderful temperment of the golden retriver and the non shedding of a poodle so they make great housedogs and are very smart.
The Goldendoodle is a first generation cross breeding between a golden retreiver and a poodle. These are generally healthy dogs because they are of dogs whose breeds are unrelated. This dog is also as a rule very fertile.
