For the most part, chow dogs can be described as 'cat like. ' People often say this because they are intelligent, but not always concerned with pleasing their masters. They are also known to be aloof, independent, dignified and stubborn.

This varies by individuals, but they are generally very hyper and require lots of attention. They do not like to cuddle, and they are somewhat noisy and demanding many times.
