A Braille embosser is a printer, necessarily an impact printer, that renders text as Braille. Using special translation software, a print document can be embossed with relative ease, making Braille production much more efficient and cost-effective.

A braille embosser is something that is used to create braille for the blind to read. You can use the embosser to create books, cards, and basically anything that is readable. To emboss something is when something purtrudes from the page so that when someone rubs their hand or fingers over it, they will recognise the symbols they stand for.
