The Printing House for the Blind in Louisville, Kentucky prints and publishes texts in Braille with Braille printing machines. The machines are computerized and programmed to reproduce printed text in Braille form. There are also computer keyboards with Braille keys for use by individuals. Sight impaired individuals often use headsets to listen to the copy that is to be typed.

The machine is like a typewriter. It has keys with dots and such for the blind to use. ATM's also have braille access for them.Technology has come a long way in helping the blind, books are even published now.
