What is a better drive for storage a jaz drive or a zip drive?

Since both of the drives are magnetic based rather than ram based, the media would last the same amount of time storage wise. If you are more concerned about storage time, there will be no difference. If you are more concerned about storage space and capacity, you would be better off with the JAZ drive, as the disks are larger.

I would have to say nither. Both drives do not have a fire saftey protection, nor have a good life span. Today there are better drives that can not only protect your data, but have fire and water protection. I find that Blackbox Drives or Internet Storage work better to protect against loss of data or long term storage.

ZIP drive is better when we compare it with JAZ drive. because ZIP is common one and it is using globally. so everyone knows about it. so we ask doubt freely

You should use the JAZ drive as it has a 2 GB maximum capacity, when the ZIP drive has only 750 Mb maximum.

Jaz drive is much better for long term storage. A zip drive would be good if you just wanted to quickly move it from one place to another.

If would really go with the zip drive in this case. If the files are normal then I would use the zip drive.
