What information should include in a home repair grant?

I have never written a grant before.

A thoughtful proposal will consider carefully the funding agency. If, for example, the company offering the grant is a roofing supplies firm, you are more likely to receive funding if your project includes roofing work and if you stress that part of your project in your letter.

I would include information about the types of repairs needed and estimates of their costs. I would also include information, if applicable, about how these repairs will benefit the surrounding neighborhood and/or community.

You should include why the grant is needed and show proof why you are unable to pay for it. Show how it will add value to your home
