If you are unable to hold down food and it becomes a problem then your doctor would be able to provide you with medication to help with the morning sickness. Morning sickness is a common illness in early pregnancy that normally goes away in a few months.

The best thing that you can do is try eating smaller portions at a higher frequency. Also, make sure to drink plenty of fluids. Try bland foods: bananas, bread, oatmeal, applesauce. Take your pre-natal vitamins at night instead of the morning. And if all else fails, call your doctor.

Early pregnancy is very difficult. Usually the nausea goes away towards the second trimester. I know many women who lost weight in the first trimester. Just hang in there, and eventually you will be feeling better.

Try to eat the best you can, even if it's not a lot of food or it's not healthy food. Try drinking ginger ale and eating crackers. If you cannot hold anything down for more than a day I suggest you talk to your doctor so you don't get dehydrated.
