Evergreens are great bushes for looks and privacy. Make sure to keep on top of watering and make sure to fertilize in fall and summer with a fertilizer spike.

They are very nice hearty bushes. The only thing that you have to occasionally deal with is bag worms that try to take over the bush.

Some evergreen bushes are prone to fungus attacks. These are usually just cosmetic, and the plant remains healthy overall. Otherwise the only care they usually need is pruning.
