"Bladder attacks" is not a medically accurate word. Either she is having 'gallbladder attacks', which is completely solveable with surgery, or she is having "bladder spasms". Symptoms of bladder spasms are urinary frequency, painful urination, sometimes difficulty avoiding accidents. She should be seeking medical attention.

A gallbladder attack is very painful. It occurs when a gallstone blocks the bile duct and the result is severe pain. The pain can come and go. In worst cases the gallbladder needs to be removed.
