It would be the same as all dogs. Age of the dog plays a roll in bladder control. A new diet could cause increased urination due to hormone imbalance. Another thing that could cause bladder control is increased relaxation. Any other bladder control issues would be more a medical concern and should be brought to the vet.

Sometimes dogs, especially spayed, older female dogs, can develop urinary incontinence. Your dog needs a urinalysis and exam by your vet to rule out a bladder infection.
