Chris Benoit killed his wife and son, placing a Bible by each one of them prior to committing suicide in June of 2007. His wife and son were asphyxiated, and Benoit hung himself. He left no note as to why he did this, though some believe steroids were involved.

He committed suicide on June 24, 2007 in Fayetteville Georgia. In the days leading up to this, he also killed his wife and his son. His son was drugged and unconscious when he was strangled to death.
