Updos with ringlets are both gorgeous and classy. A ponytail with the hair then curled into ringlets then pinned up with flower pins was extremely pretty.

It depends on your hair texture. I recommend reading special prom issues of teen magazines to get instructions for updos. In general, prom updos leave wisps of hair to frame your face. You can choose half-up or all the way up, and your hair can be up high or low on your head - or even on the side!

French braids or weaves are good for prom as they keep the hair off the face and out of the way. This way the prom goer can enjoy the evening without worry.

Go for an updo that doesn't look TOO done. It's perfectly ok for it to look just a little messy. Nobody likes a stiff, untouchable, too symetrical, overly hairsprayed 'do!
