What are some unique prom themes?

While there's no way to be sure that your theme will be completely unique, it's best to stay away from decades or classic movies if you want to be unique. If you choose something from contemporary pop culture - perhaps, Lady GaGa or the movie AVATAR - you'll be ahead of the curve.

Some unique prom themes I've seen was casino night and a red tie affair. If you want to go for something big, do 1800's formal attire.

Well I myself would go with a Masquerade Ball Theme. The couples outfits must compliment each other. Awards for outfits. (Most Original, Couple with the Best Complimenting Outfits, and King and Queen of the Masquerade) Fake Vines, Fake flowers, Fake candles and things for decorations.

One theme i thought of was a candy land theme like katy perry has on one of her CD covers. i thought it was super cute. nobody is really gonna think of that. you could also do a wild at heart theme. A paris theme, everything french. including food and decorations. Hope u use an idea of mine.

Well i went to 7 different proms and they all had some interesting themes! They were...The Black Tie Affair, When i fall in love, Arabian Nights, and Under the sea!! They were all really fun to decorate and be a part of!

How about an amusement park theme? Or a New York Central Park Theme? A cruise theme would be good, too. Try a jungle theme.
