The GPA of an A equals an average of a 4. 0 in college. In order to maintain this perfect GPA you have to keep all of your grades at a A or that means 90 or above.

An A- is equal to a 3. 5 gpa. This is figured by considering an A is a 4. 0 and a B is a 3.0. Therefore, an A- would be exactly between the two.
