What garden hand tools should I own?

I have never had a garden or yard before.

There are many tools that you could use for your garden but the most basic and essential would be a spading fork( to improve soil before planting plants), a hoe for weeding and cultivating soil, a watering can, a proper shovel for digging trees and shrubs and last but not least a bow rake.

A spade, for digging up vegetables and loosening soil, a hoe, for making rows to plant seeds, and a rake, for raking up debris,are the essential tools for a garden.

A watering can for watering small potted plants is useful.Other tools that are good to have are a rake,trowell,shovel,broom,weed rooting tool,spade,pitchfork,dustpan,garden hose,garden hose nozzle,hand fertillizer distributor,lawn mower,buckets,stakes,pots,hoe,garden hose spool,and a collapseable round barrel that you can put lots of debris in until you are ready to put it out for green waste recycling..

Garden hand tools that an enthusiast should own are those which are light- weight and comfortable for the hands. This would include a hand rake, pruning scissors and shovel, .
