What ever happened to Slobodan Milosevik?

He died of a heart attack in his jail cell in the UN war crimes tribunal's detention center. At the time, he was on trial by the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, for crimes against humanity, particularly against Kosovars. There is some controversy surrounding his death and whether it could have been prevented.

Milosevic was defeated for re-election in 2000, and turned over to the UN in 2001 for war crimes and crimes against humanity. He died in prison in 2006.
