It means that it's time to replace your television. If you have three blinks and no audio, then I suggest that you replace the unit.

it is on off light's controller.when you switch tv it blinks 3 times and begins to show image afterwards.that's all.I have scoured the earth for a diagnostic code page or a service manual for this TV, with no success. And I am probably the best internet researcher I know
