What does it say about healing in the scriptures?

It says that God does perform miraculous healing, but sometimes he chooses not to. Saint Paul was close enough to God to cast out demons and the heal the sick just by having his shadow pass over them. And, yet, God would not remove the thorn from his side when he prayed for it to be so.

James 5:14-15 . "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord." Make sure you call your regular Doctor right along with the elders. God gavce us Medicine, We should use prayer and medical care together.
