Your problem could be with your running shoes. If you shoes are worn in any way that could be causing instability which puts stress on joints and muscles. Sometimes replacing your running shoes or adding arches or supports to them will help with aches.

You will have some aching at first when you start to do some hardcore jogging. Probably for the first few times that you go jogging after a break. After the first few times if you have severe pain that lasts a long time you should really talk to your doctor about it.

There is a build-up of lactic acid if their is an ongoing ache. This can be treated by resting between intervals of running to give the body more oxygen because when you are running, your body needs oxygen to run, if it does not recieve this, it builds up on lactic acid.
