Your child may be suffering anxiety. Since little kids often cannot verbalize their worries, the anxieties are internalized and manifest in physical symptoms. A stomach ache is quite common because anxiety affects us in our "guts. " Children hear things about violence, war, death and other issues and can't process the information, and it often ends up literally making them sick.
