What does it mean if I keep getting a "runtime error" in Word?

It could possibly be caused by the Adobe 7 COM add in or antivirus software. I would try to run windows updater and install Service pack 2. If that doesn't help, in Word go to Tools - Templates - add ins and delete PDFmaker.

This error could occur by a third party plug in. Check tools, templates & plug ins and search e.g. for pdf entries.
