The horse is a symbol of powerful, wild energy. Horses can swim, but a swimming pool is rigid and confining. If this were my dream I would be telling me that I am being thwarted in some way--that my wild powerful energy is being reined in and not allow full expression.

Analyze what a horse and a pool symbolize to you separately. To someone who grew up with horses, they may have a different meaning then to someone who might be afraid of horses or water for that matter.
