What does it mean if a TV is "pureflat"?

Is there some sort of false flat?

It's a marketing term used by Panasonic on their CRT (tube) TVs. If you look at most CRT TV's the screen is actually bulges out a bit like a bubble. A flat TV has no bulge. It's not a big deal and you probably wouldn't notice the curve unless you regularly viewed the TV from a wide angle.
