What does it mean if a disc in the cervical spine is bulging and flattens the spinal cord?

If a disc is bulging in the cervical spine, pain or tingling may ensue for the patient. Nerve endings will become irritated causing numbness or pain down a particular leg. This condition can be serious and may be alleviated by cortisone injections into the Inflamed area.
